Come in here to get stuff of your chest

Why oh why do we now have backpacks with wheels and a handle like suitcases? Yes a big suitcase might need wheels as y'know they're heavy but a backpack that has been designed for your back to take the weight? COME ON!!!!

Wheelie bags in general give me the red mist.

They're a major cause of queues and delays in security as people stack so much in them and security have to go through the whole lot if they set off a buzzer.

Passengers use them to increase their luggage allowance or because they're too lazy and in a hurry to to wait in the baggage hall for their bags to come through.

They are a MAJOR cause of delays to flights as there is not enough overhead luggage locker space for them and they need to be taken off passengers at the gate, labelled up, scanned and loaded into the hold. Anyone on flights to India and West Africa will see this everytime.

They are deadly weapons. It's like getting stuck behind a vehicle towing a caravan on a single track country lane. The passenger stops and the person behind them trips over the bag.

I much prefer to use a small rucksack, it performs the same function as rucksack, it's easier to put it on your back and have both hands free and it can be used for day to day work at your destination.

Wheelie bags are also used as fashion statements. 'Look at me, I'm a regular traveller and I have a £500 Tumi bag'.

Is this an acceptable rant.

The heat. Motherfucking heat.

Yesterday getting off the central line I actually felt a blast of cool air when I got off.

This morning, woke up, jumped in the shower, vomited in the shower.

f*** this sh!t, I'm off to Longyearbyen.

Central line this morning. Previously no service Woodford - Epping, it then became Debden - Epping with a good service on the rest of the line. Why then did I spend over half an hour at Buckhurst Hill station...

Chinese couples that rock up in Westminster in their wedding attire so they can have their photos taken in picturesque locations. Then they drag their 10 foot long dress along our filthy pavements while everyone stops and looks thus causing pavement gridlock

Oh and before anyone says "that doesn't happen": http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-29444010

Tourists are the worst at stations. I've lost count of the times I've been making my way to the exit but end up being blocked by a family taking a picture of nothing in particular.

With their wheely suitcases (sometimes covered in cling film wtf). At Westminster Station it's the ticket gates where the trouble is. Oyster cards seem a completely impossible concept to some of them

They cover their bags in cling film for security reasons as some airports are notorious for bags being broken into by baggage handlers. Not in the UK fortunately.

Wouldn't a padlock be enough? And have the added benefit of not making you look stupid?

I still don't get it though :(

How is cling film superior to a padlock?
