According to Roper we tried to recall him, he did not want to come back!

But he is contracted to us, so surely if true, then grounds for cancelling his contract with no pay off to be given ?

Seen on twitter he is coming back.

I think he didnt want to come back because he wanted to start but now he almost certainly will in our depleted squad.

Added to the fact we arent bringing anyone in i dont think we have an option

He lives in Hythe.
He should be thankful that he is getting paid to play football the talentless gump.

Didn't think there was recall clause in Moore's loan deal, wasn't it supposed to end next week and not this?

It was meant to end after Saturdays round of games.

I didn't think there was a recall clause myself, didn't think window to window 6 month loans had any recall clauses........

Don't get the hate for Moore, he was one of those who performed well under Hendon early on and until an injury was a regular starter.

Not the classiest player you'll ever see but OK for League 2 and right now we just need enough to stay there. Should really be as an addition to the squad with Collins retained but if FB is determined to close the purse strings I'd rather have Moore recalled than an empty midfield.

"Moore joined the Whites on a loan deal until January 14 with O’s surprisingly not inserting a recall clause."

The times I say him play under Hendon I was quite impressed, given that my expectations of him were very low.

I quite liked him, never expected anything out if this world and didn't get it(Apart from that one screamer against Notts County) so no disappointment there but he did an OK job.

If Andy Edwards wants to go with that 4-2-3-1 he used on Saturday again he could always stick Moore next to Atangana, have them in front of the back four and put Mezague back into defence alongside Parkes or whoever and bin Erichot.

Welcome back Sammy. Personally I'm glad he is back, we need extra bodies in the squad which seemingly we are not going to be getting anyone new in, could do much worse than Sammy.

Generally agree with this, except that after Saturday's performances (and the last few months, to be honest) I'd much rather see Parkes binned off. Hopefully we can have octogenarian Adam Barrett alongside Mezague in time for Saturday.

I'd take that.

You could bin either of Erichot or Parkes to be honest, both as s*** as each other.

Think the most frustrating this is that both clearly have the ability to put in good performances, but both also have some of the most appalling concentration and decision-making in games.

I never understood why he was loaned out, must have been Hess didn't like him, but I always thought he was decent for us. And he is match-fit and shown he can score from midfield which is what we are missing so much since Liam got injured.

Good luck Sammy, glad you are back
