What will you do when the club folds?

PostPosted by Dunners » Mon Jan 09, 2017 10:26 pm

Will you support a phoenix club, or will that be it for you?

Really think I could quite dig it, supping Tyskie and munching on a Wagon Wheel at some windswept field in the marshes.

Even playing the likes of Ilford FC would be preferable to paying into the current regime and watching a bunch of players we don't care about not give a f*** as we get torn a new arsehole week in/week out.

Next season could be the most fun yet.

Thinking of setting up a middle class socialist 'Ultra' supporters group, you want in?

Might join the Clapton Ultras. I quite like a protest these days and moaning about £1 sounds like a right laugh.

Call it a day, only ever supported the O's and anything else would just be a poor substitute

After 50 plus years of being an O I couldn't really support another team. It would be heartbreaking, then again the last three seasons have been heartbreaking.

Recently moved not far from Welling, also got Mackie and Alexanders Greenwich Borough about 15 mins away.

The club won't fold. It will become a non-league side with no ground, relying on Hearn to allow them to pay for free. Me, I'll pop down to the odd game.

Couldn't support another League club.
Would probably go on the Essex non league scene. If a phoenix O's were in it, then follow them, if not, just cherry pick games. (I know how to live)

Same for me - I live in the middle of all these Essex non - leaguers - that would do me. At least I would find out what it means to win at home.

I enjoy my holidays now - annual jaunts to Portsmouth, Mansfield, Stevenage and the like.
