The one question that needs asking tonight is
why play Korama from the start and im guessing
as a winger and he's practically holding lawless and
Lees hand in centre mid for the first half..
He's tore Maidstone to shreds when coming on sat
and hardly sees the byline the 45 mins he was on the
park ..

I would not describe mid table as a good season. Adequate, acceptable, understandable for sure. But not good.

Davis will get a season and rightly so. A very difficult situation for him and Ling and we need some patience. The key for me is how they react to this set back. Team morale will be low, I hope Davis has the ability to get them mentally ready for the next game, don't want a downward spiral setting in. We lost, it hurts, lets learn and move on. And bring is one or two physically able players to battle it out when needed, which will be most games.

NU's been on the wind up over Davis for a while. You'd be silly to bite.

Truth be told though he needs at least a season. I'm certainly not against what he's been attempting to do. It's quite evident he's been looking for us to play a quick, incisive passing game and he's going to learn more from this squad after every game. He'll change things up for Saturday and was already talking about needing to be more compact away from home so it was good he acknowledged this.

No problem in my book with Davis or the style he likes his teams to play and I agree that he should be given a full season. Ultimately though it must come down to results and "winning football". I'd much rather we played like Wimbledon of the 80's and won games than play a " quick, incisive passing game"'and get slaughtered by the likes of Bromley.

This is spot on. Mid table wouldn't be considered a good season but a base to work from. Davis should be given until at least about 2 -3 months into next season as long as we are not totally heading in wrong direction and are rooted near bottom in a relegation fight. If we are still only mid table ish in November next season then he should start to feel some pressure. Patience is needed.

Some very sad individuals in this thread who need to resort to personal attacks! Turns out you can't criticise a bloke for being bad at his job and having a big chin without getting abuse.

The one thing we haven't learnt from the previous 3 years is to appoint a manager who has the ability to take us forward

The one thing that everyone should have learned is not to rise to NU's sledgehammer WUMming.

Ah modern day football, don't you just love it?

Four games in, completely new squad, new this, new that, new everything, 50% win percentage, unbeaten on grass, sorry mate, you've got one game to save your job.
