Canelo Vs GGG

PostPosted by Pie and Mash » Mon Sep 04, 2017 12:26 pm

Been announced that it's gonna be a £17 PPV on Boxnation (Or free to Boxnation subscribers but not those who get it through BT Sport).

Oddly, you can just pay for the month's subscription (£12 no admin fee), get the fight as well as Billy Joe Saunders, Gilberto Ramirez and George Grove's upcoming fights and it works out cheaper than the one off PPV cost - Just remember to cancel.

Should be the most anticipated fight of the year (Mayweather circus aside)

Great fight this, best fighting the best, all results possible, unlike the money-making circus where, realistically, Mayweather stopping McGregor was the only possible outcome.

Don't see how Canelo has managed to negotiate a 60/40 split in his favour

I think if GGG doesn't knock him out then it will be a Canelo win. I genuinely think Canelo has improved greatly over the past 5 years.

Nope i wont be watching

My days of watching live boxing are done .
Haven't watched a live fight since Lewis & Bruno .

If im awake i listen on the radio .

Find the commentaries far better .

I dont care who wins to be honest , just commenting its a shame neither will earn close to what a 1st time Pro boxer earnt against 1 of the 3 most winning boxers in history .
Just shows how corrupt the sport is .

Expect Joshua fight to be announced tomorrow as Pulev says its a done deal for Cardiff .
I'm sure plenty will have opinions on this one as well Spies & trash

I prefer listening to the boxing on the radio than TV.

Same as rugby league, not union though. Strange that.

Also think football is better on the radio than watching on TV.

Three days to go, opinion seems to be shifting towards Alvarez

Also see they've managed to make Lomachenko/Riggondeaux and Wilder/Ortiz.

Cracking year for boxing

Anyone good on the undercard for this? Not that it really needs it.

Wow. What an opening fight. That Parker fella absolutely banged Blackledge out there.

Turned on BT Sport just in time to see Daniel Dubois pick up the Southern Area Heavyweight Title, he destroyed AJ Carter in the first round, dropped him twice then knocked him out cold before the first minute was up.

Martin Murray just won. Can't see him getting another title shot though.

Far too good for British and European, just falls short of World Level.

In his four defeats and a draw he's fought Groves, Sturm, Golovkin, Martinez and Abraham. Can't knock him for being game but fear he might end up punch drunk.

Belter of a fight going on here. Five rounds in, Smith for most but the fifth was all Skoglund.

How did the ref not stop that in the 3rd round? Was getting a bit worried for the guy.

Skoglund on top here now. Can't see how the bookies had Smith as the favourite to win the tournament when Groves was top seed.

Smith if he gets through this has made a right meal of it.

Think Smith is in trouble here. He's got the punch to finish it, but Skoglund can take one.
