We seem to be doing a York letting in 11 against the likes of Bromley, Borehamwood & Halifax- hardly giants of this division

Yeah, but there's enough bottom-fodder for us that avoid the stragglers, I reckon.

I thought that last year especially given that only two went down. Regardless of Coco, the players were too good for that, or so I thought.

Strange how only two games ago Davis was amazing as were the team.

Not like Orient fans to overreact after a win or loss though hey?

I don't recall anyone saying Davis was amazing, ever.

We can all agree though the last 4 days have been a disaster and to lose against these clubs with the supposed quality we have is not acceptable.

Have said it from the start - every day that he's manager is a day wasted.

The sooner people wake up the better, in about 5 or 6 games time you'll have all caught up.

Regardless of the last 2 games, to be one win off the top spot after ten games, I'm sure EVERYONE connected with Leyton Orient would've taken that 2 months ago when we didn't even have a team. People need to be a bit more realistic about where we're going to end up this season.

Mid table obscurity (and I will happily take that after the last 3 years)

UTO's!!!

Still stand by this.

I think that is a pretty fair assessment. There is little doubt that the squad we have - bar long term injuries- is good enough to keep us in and around the play off spots. Whether it can push us beyond that remains unlikely in my view.

Funnily enough I can see my own words coming true about some being hypocrites.

Nine games = We're fourth, that's amazing and well above expectations
Eleven games = We're 15th, but you can't take any notice at the table at the moment because it is so tight

The truth is after 10 games, having 16 points would be about the mid-point for people. Some would have gone higher but not by much, some would have gone lower but not by much.
Performance-wise overall with so many bad days at the office I'm slightly disappointed with Davis so far and I expected a bit more from us. His excuses of really experienced pros somehow becoming complacent seems rubbish to me, and not once have I recalled him taking responsibility and protecting the players a bit. Last night was little to do with those players making their debuts - they were fit and also knew they were playing for several days beforehand.

That doesn't mean I am not behind him at present, but he can't be immune from criticism. Short of us losing a stupid amount of games there should be no managerial changes this season, but I feel that if we end up finishing the season poorly him and Ling should end up being replaced.

Again the league table does not lie, we have lost to three of the top four teams and we have failed to score against any of them.
