Network Rail and the Train Operating Companies have the experience to know that this is one of the busiest weekends of the year and should put on extra capacity. Unless of course there's disruption that caused all of this.

I've seen that before.1981? I wasn't there though.As I didn't support football at the time I supported the trains. :oops:

Still it did get me a fully fledged career on the railway.Football didn't.You are a bit obsessed with deltics mate. ;)

My girlfriend’s Southern Rail train (London Bridge to Victoria Loop) was cancelled this morning because “There were too many trains”.

Is this a genuine excuse? Or was someone pulling her leg?
